Author Jill Brazier talks about Doley, her real life Guatemalan street dog, and inspiration for the bilingual children’s book, Doley the Guatemalan Street Dog: The Sounds of San Marcos. The book, is the first of a series, based on the five senses. Doley was a discerning character with a wise, gentle soul. Her striking appearance and elegant demeanor were captivating.
