Author Jill Brazier talks about her decision to publish independently. The first book in her bilingual children’s book series, Doley the Guatemalan Street Dog: The Sounds of San Marcos, was released independently by Artworkz Press in May 2012. The series is illustrated with breathtaking artwork by Nicaraguan artist, Marcio Diaz.
