The excitement is building as we prepare for this fun event on Saturday, December 5! The Traveler, on Bainbridge Island, invited author, Jill Brazier, to help kick off the grand opening of their new expanded location – including a children’s section featuring books, games, and travel accessories for kids. This event will feature a debut reading of the next book, The Caravan of Colors! Special edition proof copies of the book will be for sale, along with original paintings and select prints. Nicaraguan artist, Marcio Diaz will be there to talk with guests, sign books and sketch with the kids! Everyone is invited to enjoy the reading and interactive projects, with special invitations being sent to the 70 families whose children attend Spanish immersion classes on Bainbridge Island. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Island Library Committee (BOSIA). Last year, 30 Doley books were distributed to schools and libraries in Ometepe, Nicaragua through BOSIA! Learn more at www.bainbridgeometepe.org
